Renewed Executions Kobe Lee

Kobe Lee is in a cell laying on her bunk, she was condemned to hang for murder at 19. But all executions were suspended due to liberals fighting it in court. At first the suspension of capital punishment seemed like a blessing. Then she spent a decade of her life in a cell. She was allowed only fifteen minutes a day outside with handcuffs and shackles on. Now the idea of being executed seems like a gift. Sparing her thirty to fifty more years alone in a cage. There is one problem, the prison rumor mill has passed the word about Cameron’s electrocution, it was not quick nor painless. Kobe figures that they will follow the judges original order and she will go to the gallows to hang.

When the guard arrives Kobe is not surprised. He calls her and she just replies almost bored. Let me guess they’ve scheduled my execution? He tells her that she is going to get the electric chair tomorrow. Kobe sits up and looks at the guard. She asks if she can be hung like the judge intended. Kobe tells him that she heard about what happened with the chair. And if he would just give her a belt and walk away she would save them the electric bill.

The guard tells her he will pass along her request. But in the meantime she’ll have to pick out an outfit. Telling her they are sending a trustee by with some clothes, mostly donated but she can wear what she wants, just nothing covering her head or below the knee. Kobe asks why she gets an outfit. He tells her after the last one the news outlets sued for rights to record the execution. So she is going to be on tv.

Kobe is pacing in her cell, still wearing her prison uniform. The execution ware she picked out is laid out on the bunk. She strips and attempts to make a noose with her prison uniform. But before she can hang herself the guard rushes in.

Now she paces naked, not sure what she can do now. Finally the guard asks if she’d rather go naked, she looks at him and finally gets dressed. Once ready she calls for the guard, telling him she is ready. She is then escorted handcuffed and shackled to the electric chair. Kobe is lead to the execution room. She takes her place in the electric chair and waits patiently as she is strapped in and wired up. All that remains is for the guard to blindfold and gag her.

She is given a chance to make a final statement. Kobe admits that she might deserve to die for the murders she committed. But objects to how they are going to kill her. She points out that they’re only gagging her so they won’t hear her screams.  Then she finishes her final statement with “Just get it over with”. She is gagged and blindfolded.

Shock one: Her body goes rigid and her back arches as the current flows, there is indeed a gagged scream. The jolt knocked the wind out of her, she spends the time before shock two trying to gasp for breath, but still sitting upright

Shock two: There is a muted attempt at protest as she writhes in the chair. in the final 2-3 seconds faint smoke starts coming from the head piece

When it stops he catches her breath, then begins to struggle against the straps, desperate to escape the death machine.

Shock three gets only a brief yelp as the current hits her, and the smoke is clearly visible coming from her head. She goes limp in the chair when it stops, however after a few seconds she lets out a groan and starts moving.

Shock four finishes it. And there is more smoke coming off of her head until the electricity stops. Once the switch is turned off she goes limp. The guard uses a stethoscope to confirm that the execution is complete. He turns to the crowd and states it is complete. Then the witnesses are dismissed.  She will be moved to the morgue for viewing.

Now she is laying on the gurney naked. Her skin is a grayish blue. The witnesses are allowed to view the body. Camera pans the corpse.
