Yearly Medical Exam Paige Erin Turner

Paige is sitting in the doctors office waiting for the doctor. It is time for her yearly medical exam. The doctor asks her a few questions before her before giving her a medical gown to put on. He leaves the room for her to change into the gown. Once she is finished the doctor comes back in and the exam begins. The doctor checks the scale to make sure it is zeroed. Then he checks her weight and height. He writes down his findings and moves on. During the exam he checks her eyes, ears and temperature. He continues to ask general questions making sure that nothing has changed. Next he uses the stethoscope to listen to her heart as well as her breathing. He uses a sphygmomanometer to check her B-pressure.

The next step is a breast exam. Asking her about self exams and if she does them. First he starts the breast exam while she is sitting up. Then he has her lay back on the exam table. Once on her back, the doctor continues with the breast exam. Feeling around for anything of concern. The doctor does a visual exam of her body. He also touches and squeezes some areas to see if there is anything that needs to be noted. The doctor is careful to only expose the area he is looking at. He has her open her mouth and uses a light to inspect her mouth and gums. Then he moves on to a touch and range of motion exam.

The doctor does a stomach exam next. He uses a stethoscope to listen to her stomach. Placing the bell in several quadrants. Next he applies pressure while listening with he stethoscope. When he does the scratch test she asks what he doing. He explains why he is doing it. That is followed by having her take a deep breath and when she lets it out he feels with his hands.

He checks the temperature of her feet and legs looking for circulation issues. Finally he uses a measuring tape to check her legs and knees because he thought he noticed some swelling. Once done he tells her his concerns and thanks her for coming in. He leaves so she can get changed in private.
